USA Patriot Act Identification Program
Important information about procedures for opening a new account at
Kimberly Clark Credit Union
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Congress passed and President Bush signed into law the USA Patriot Act. The law requires that all financial institutions obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means to you: When you open an account, we will need your name, birthdate, address, social security number, and driver’s license number. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
